Rachana Nayak, a 13-year-old girl from Ganesh Nagar slum area, Bhopal, is a Class 10 (Drone) student at Government School, Misrod. Coming from an economically unstable family, her parents struggle with irregular income, making education a secondary priority. Her mother is a homemaker, and her father works as a daily wage laborer. Despite financial hardships, she and her brother Jitendra Nayak joined Umang Academy. However, due to severe financial constraints, Jitendra had to drop out of school to support the family, despite being a bright student.
Immature behavior, which made it difficult for her to focus on academics.
Language barrier, as she could only communicate in her regional language and struggled with Hindi.
Time constraints, as her government school started at 10 AM, requiring her to leave early from Umang Academy.
Recognizing her challenges, Umang Academy’s teachers designed a structured approach to help her:
✔️ Special guidance was provided to help her transition from immature behavior to a more focused learning approach.
✔️ Language development was a key focus—she was encouraged to converse in Hindi and gradually introduced to English words for better communication.
✔️ Personalized attention in academics, ensuring she improved in all subjects while also balancing her school schedule.
✅ Significant maturity growth—she now displays responsible and focused behavior.
✅ Improved handwriting—she has transitioned to neat cursive writing.
✅ Fluent in Hindi and has begun using English words in public speaking.
✅ Overall academic progress, showing remarkable improvement in studies.
